Sterlington welcomes Jennifer Czeisler and Edward W. Ciolko as Partners and Co-Heads of its Complex Litigation Group.

NEW YORK; September 20, 2023 –Sterlington welcomes Jennifer Czeisler and Edward W. Ciolko as Partners and Co-Heads of its Complex Litigation Group.

Jennifer has litigated cases spanning a wide range of matters across numerous industries in state and federal courts.  She has extensive experience litigating cases relating to consumer products, consumer protection and consumer services, with a focus on reverse redlining, discriminatory and predatory lending and illegal credit reporting practices  defective products, false advertising, marketing and mislabeling, consumer fraud and data privacy and cyber security including data breaches, ransomware attacks and unlawful collection and/or disclosure of personal information, and anti-trust litigation. Prior to joining Sterlington, Jennifer was a partner with Milberg.

Edward began his career as an Attorney Advisor to a Commissioner at the Federal Trade Commission. Prior to joining Sterlington, he was a partner at Lynch Carpenter, where in addition to FLSA, consumer protection, and ERISA work, he helped lead the firm’s COVID 19 College Tuition/School Fee Refund practice. Ed’s expertise encompasses a range of complex financial and lending matters, including ERISA breach of fiduciary duty “imprudent pension investment” actions, insurance/reinsurance, lending, anti-trust, RESPA and cybersecurity. Prior, he also was an academic researcher and teaching assistant at the Yale School of Management, creative consultant, and sports journalist.

Jennifer earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami. She earned a Master of Social Work from the Hunter School of Social Work and a B.A. cum laude from Hofstra University. Edward earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, his MBA in Corporate Finance and Investments from the Yale School of Management, and his B.A. from Wesleyan University in Economics and Ancient/Medieval History.
