Armando Guio Espanol

Armando Guio Espanol is an associate focusing on data protection, technology matters and AI-assisted work. He is currently on secondment to UNESCO where he is working on global ethics guidelines for generative AI efforts. Prior to joining Sterlington, he was an advisor to the Columbian government on its national AI strategy design and development as well as its policy and standards of Blockchain in the private and public sectors. Armando was also a fellow affiliate at Harvard University’s Berkman Klein Center, serving as a project lead between it and the Columbian government on AI policy. Armando earned his LL.M. with Honors from Harvard Law School, and a Master of Public Policy degree from Oxford University, Blavatnik School of Government. He earned his LLB magna cum laude from the Universidad de los Andes, where he graduated in the top 1%.
