Francisco is an associate in Sterlington’s Litigation practice, specializing in complex litigation, trademark law and copyright law. He has experience in all stages of litigation, achieving successful outcomes in multiple cases in federal court and international arbitration. His prior litigation experience focused on trademark enforcement and policing for major fashion and hotel brands with experience with before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy before the World Intellectual Property Organization. He also completed clerkships with the Honorable Wanda Cruz Vazquez at the San Juan Trial Court and the Honorable Migdalia Fraticelli at the Court of Appeals of Puerto Rico.
Prior to joining Sterlington, Francisco worked as an associate at Foley Hoag LLP in their trademark, copyright, and false advertising litigation practice. Francisco holds a JD (magna cum laude) from the University of Puerto Rico, and an MA in International Relations, Development & Security (summa cum laude) from the University of Bristol.
