Jeremy L. Goldstein is the founder of JLG & Associates and a former partner at Wachtell Lipton. He advises compensation committees, CEOs, management teams, and corporations in executive compensation and corporate governance matters, particularly as such issues arise in the context of transformative corporate events and sensitive situations. In the course of his career, he has been involved in many of the largest corporate transactions of the past decade and has been involved in over $3 trillion of M&A over his career. Jeremy was chair of the Mergers & Acquisition Subcommittee of the Executive Compensation Committee of the ABA Business Section. He writes and speaks frequently on corporate governance and executive compensation issues and is listed as a leading executive compensation lawyer listed as a leading executive compensation lawyer in Chambers and The Legal 500. Jeremy is a member of the Board of Directors of Fountain House, a charity dedicated to the recovery of individuals with mental illness. He has a J.D. from NYU School of Law, an M.A. from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. cum laude with distinction in all subjects from Cornell University.
